Some of the present car models come with an inbuilt battery monitoring unit, whereas for older models one can have an out of factory 12v battery monitoring system with Bluetooth. My vehicle didn't come with the preinstalled one and so I went forward to install the aftermarket monitoring system to keep an eye on the performance of the battery. The 12v battery monitor system with Bluetooth gives me easy access to battery voltage check.
I have to keep the monitoring system on for the entire time and it alerts me in case of any issue. There are different variations of these devices and depending on your requirement, you can choose the one suiting your needs and budget. Because of its small size, you can hide it anywhere away from visibility.
At first, I used to have a base model that just gave me information about the voltage but that was not enough when I was taking the vehicle on a long drive. The new 12v battery monitor with Bluetooth gives me different features and even had a smartphone app of its own through which I can take the rating of the battery. I was able to analyse the percentage of charge and even keep a record of the battery for at least 35 days.
Apart from the voltage and charge monitor, the new 12v battery monitor system with Bluetooth ran some tests to understand the performance of the battery under extreme condition. The result of the tests gives me an idea of any issue. I am genuinely happy with the overall performance of the battery monitoring system and my vehicle.
