How To Convert The Halogen Headlight To Leds In Your Vehicle?


One can easily convert the lighting feature in a vehicle with the use of a simple kit and understanding of the circuit and fitting. It will be fare enough to state here that any vehicle fitted with a halogen light can be installed with a LED light. The process of D2S LED headlights conversion is easy and doesn’t require you to visit a body workshop.

Many riders and drivers prefer the LED headlights because it gives out a huge amount of light while driving in the dark. This has also been a reason for fewer vehicle accidents in the present state. A CREE LED light has the power to produce 3200 lumens in respect of a factory manufactured headlight which gives out only 1000 lumens.

Depending on the type of your vehicle, you should be purchasing either a single beam or a dual beam bulb. Accordingly, the new LED headline needs to be purchased as the kit should fit in the existing socket. The box should contain LED bulbs, ballast and the required wiring. If you are purchasing for your car, you should order a set of two but for the motorcycle, one kit is required. It is advisable to take the before picture of the halogen lights just to compare with the projection of the LEDs.

The next step is to find out the headlight plug and removing the existing circuit. After removing the halogen circuit, it is time to install the D2S LED headlights and turn it on. Further adjustments might have to be done to confirm the projection.
